Alison obtained her BFA at Syracuse University. She focused on textiles, photography, illustration and fine arts. Upon graduation Hallmark Cards Inc. asked her to join them as a 2D and 3D designer. This was to be her base and take off as she embarked on a freelance career working on textiles, cards, giftware, stationery and home decor product in NYC at her studio on 23rd St. She collaborated with many brands. Two were Jim Henson Studios and Disney. After 15 years she decided to try her hand at Art Directing. Working with some of the biggest retail names in the industry. However all along her desire to paint and photograph kept calling her back. By 2014 she launched several of her paintings and fine art photography. West Elm and Pottery Barn Kids and Teens chose many through the partnership with Minted.com. Today she is busy painting landscapes with her Canon camera in tow. Alison is constantly inspired by nature and her travels across the US, Europe, and China.
